Details & fit
Model 498. Illustrated height: 37 cm; width: 19 cm; flat depth: 1 cm. Recommended chest circumference: 66–144 cm. Allow 1–2 cm variation from manual measurement.
Adjustable straps and chest fastening let you tailor the fit around your body and load. Ventilated mesh supports airflow across the back and shoulders. Strap clips help keep excess webbing tidy.
Reflective shoulder strips, rear piping and graphics catch surrounding light on early starts and evening outings.
Materials & care
Nylon main fabric with polyester mesh. Reservoir bundles include a 1.5 L hydration reservoir; the illustrated reservoir uses a sliding top closure, drinking tube and mouthpiece dust cover.
Wipe the vest with a damp cloth. Rinse the reservoir after each use and allow it to dry thoroughly before storage.
Storage & hydration
“Vest Only” includes the vest alone. The water bladder option includes a 1.5 L reservoir. The water bladder and bottles option includes the 1.5 L reservoir plus two 250 ml bottles.
A separate rear hydration compartment holds the reservoir. Front pockets, including two larger and two smaller pockets, organise bottles, gels, sweets, tissues, a phone and keys. Zippered storage helps separate small valuables.
